Newcomer Mix & Match
Are you a new dancer interested in seeing what this whole competing thing is all about? This is the division for you! In this competition dancers register individually, and are paired randomly with a new partner for each song. It's just like social dancing, but at the end you might get a prize! This division is meant for competitors who are new to swing dancing and competing, likely having danced for less than a year.

Shake That Thing
A solo competition with a twist - this is a Mix & Match where your partner is a randomly-chosen prop. This competition is open to both leads and follows, and may involve hats, canes, brooms, scarves, furniture, vehicles, pomegranates, bells, umbrellas, and whatever else we can think of. Props will be kept as a surprise for the day of the competition. Competitors will be judged on their technique, creativity, and effective use of their prop while dancing.
