O-Town Showdown will take place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, March 1-3, 2024. Our event will feature the amazing Boilermaker Jazz Band!

Where?

O-Town Showdown will be happening at Scotton Hall in the Glebe Community Center, 175 Third Avenue, Ottawa (upstairs). Evening and afternoon dances will be held here, as well as all competitions and classes.

If you are driving, parking may be scarce. There is a parking garage between Second and Third Avenues, near Bank Street - all-day parking is available on the third and fourth levels. If you are taking the bus, the OC Transpo #6 or #7 will take you from the Rideau Centre to the corner of Bank and Third, one block away. There is street parking available during the evening in the surrounding neighbourhood.


When?

Friday Evening: The opening night dance will be held in Scotton Hall. This is the first of two dance nights featuring the incomparable Boilermaker Jazz Band!


Saturday Morning: O-Town Showdown's first full day will be starting on Saturday morning at Scotton Hall. The morning will have classes, with competitions starting in the afternoon. This includes the Solo Division, the Newcomer Mix & Match, the Open Mix & Match, the Strictly, and the preliminary rounds of the Showdown (Mix & Match).


Saturday Evening: The Saturday dance, including the Showdown (Mix & Match) and Strictly finals, featuring the sounds of the Boilermaker Jazz Band, will be happening at Scotton Hall.

Saturday Late-Night: The late night dance hosted by Ottawa Vintage Swing will be held at 251 Bank Street, Ottawa. Entrance is included with your O-Town ticket or pass but please RSVP at https://www.ottawavintageswing.com/. The late night is happening Saturday after the main dance into the early morning Sunday. Doors open at 11:45pm


Sunday Morning: Come back to Scotton Hall and start the last day of the Showdown off with some classes!

Sunday Afternoon Finish the weekend right by dancing the afternoon away with all of your new dance friends... following the Short Showcase and Team Showcase divisions!
